Yoga Ball Therapy for a Healthy Spine

Join Certified Roll Model Method instructor Kip Taylor for an in-depth workshop focusing on myofascial release, therapeutic mobility and corrective exercise for the entire body. 


Using yoga therapy balls and specific techniques, students will experience the powerful benefits of increased mobility and reduced pain in the spine. 


This workshop will include a short Hatha Flow sequence to warm the body. This sequence will address the most commonly injured, chronically tight and painful areas of the back.


Expect to leave this workshop feeling empowered to “spot treat” tight or previously injured areas of your own body with therapeutic yoga postures and yoga tune-up balls.

Yoga For Beginners Workshop

A workshop designed for those brand new to the practice or for those revisiting the practice after some time away. This workshop will cover the fundamentals of a beginning yoga practice. With the use of props you will learn easy seated poses, standing poses and guided breath work. Come enjoy yoga in a relaxed, slow-paced environment and leave with the confidence to join a regularly scheduled class.

Come experience a Sunday morning outdoors in a beautiful Bay Area setting with folks from your community.


Enjoy a Hatha Flow practice followed by nature-based mandala making with the amazing Alison Smith and a light organic lunch prepared by Natural Food Chef Trudy Schafer.


Location will be determined based on weather  the week prior to our outing and no longer than a 30 minute drive for east bay folks.

Mandalas will be photographed and emailed to you for print.

Reiki Healing Training

Level One Certification

Satuday, Nov. 10th 1-4pm


Students will learn the traditional Japanese method of Reiki Healing and meditation as taught by Mikao Osui. Working in an intimate group, students will receive a Level One attunement and will have the opportunity to practice basic treatments on one another. Certificate of completion will be given at the end of the training. Please email me for a short phone conversation before registering if we are new to one another.

Join David and Kip Taylor for an afternoon of full group and partner yoga designed to cleanse the body, balance the endocrine system and increase confidence in one's yoga practice. Through focused individual practice and with the support of a partner, you will experience a deepened awareness of the physical and spiritual aspects of Yoga as a tool for self-awareness and purification. All levels are welcome!

Enjoy a restful three-day retreat in the hills of Mendocino County at the breathtaking Shambhala Ranch Eco-Lodge. The weekend will include daily Hatha Flow and evening Restorative Yoga classes. Enjoy delicious organic, vegetarian meals prepared by our very own Chef Trudy Schafer. This lodge accommodates a group of twenty and offers a variety of sleeping options, an outdoor hot tub, nearby trails and floating with a good book on the pond or hammock. Enjoy quiet time in contemplation under the trees, a good book by the fire, a sacred cinema film or maybe enjoy a relaxing massage with Bay Area body worker Andrea Reynolds. This is a perfect opportunity to relax, unwind and allow your soul to be nourished in community with a wonderful group of people.

Rooms and Registration:


Dormitory (sleeps 7): $375

This room is located on the lower level of the main house. There is a shared bathroom outside of the room, as well as a bathroom upstairs on the main floor that can be used. Two beds are divided into semi-private spaces with curtains. There are slippers and earplugs available for your use, but the property and the house are pretty quiet and serene. There is a door leading to the outside lawn area for easy access to the walking path, pond, hot tub and hammock.  


Triple w/ Shared Bath: $400

These rooms sleep three and are located on the upper floor of the house. They have a shared deck with a beautiful view of the Mendocino hills and the pond. There is a bathroom in the hallway that will be shared with a neighboring room and the downstairs bathroom is also available for use. 


Triple Plus Private Bath: $425

This suite can sleep 3-4 people if two individuals choose to share a large king size bed. This is ideal for girlfriends and/or family members. There is a large bay window, high ceilings and a lovely private bathroom. 


Private Rooms: $475 or $450 each for Couples (SOLD OUT)

There is one cozy room in the main house with a semi-private bathroom just down the hall. This room has a nice desk and reading chair, as well as a door to the outside deck, walking path and hot tub. A double bed that best suits one person, but we have had a couple share this room in the past. The second room is located in the Barn Annex next to the main house and shares a wall with a neighboring private room. This country style room has a private bath and a queen size bed.
